This consent is optional. You can sign up to and use the Crew App without giving it. You can withdraw it at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason.
1. What you agree to
With this consent you agree that HeyAtlas.ai LLC (Sail Atlas), a company established in the United States, may send you marketing messages. These may include:
- new features and announcements about the Crew App and other Sail Atlas products,
- campaigns, perks and partnership news for crew members,
- invitations to events, training sessions and webinars,
- newsletters, surveys and satisfaction research.
This consent also serves as the prior consent required by the commercial messaging rules of your country (for example the EU ePrivacy rules or Turkish Law No. 6563).
2. Channels
- Email: to the email address registered to your Crew App account,
- Mobile notification (push): to the devices where the Crew App is installed.
We do not send marketing SMS or make marketing calls.
3. Personal data processed
First and last name, email address, language, device notification token, and how you interact with messages (delivery, opens and link clicks). We process this data based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR for users in the EEA and the UK; Article 5(1) of the KVKK for users in Türkiye), only to send messages and improve them. Amazon Web Services (Germany) is used for email delivery and Expo (United States) for notifications; see the Crew App Privacy Notice for details.
4. Service messages are separate
Messages with no marketing purpose, such as account security notices, verification codes, password actions, requests and assignments from charter companies, responses to your job applications, messages and changes to the service, are sent regardless of this consent. You can manage some of them in the notification preferences in the app.
5. Withdrawing your consent
You can stop marketing messages at any time:
- with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email,
- in the app settings,
- by writing to info@sailatlas.app.
Your request is processed within 3 business days at the latest and sending stops.
6. Keeping records of your consent
Records of your consent and opt-out, together with the version of the text, the date and time and the channel, are kept for 3 years after the consent ends.
Consent statement: “I agree to receive marketing messages containing news, offers and newsletters from Sail Atlas by email and mobile notification.”
